Glad you resolved it.
The problem is not colour resolution, it's the same principle as the
!Sprites and !Sprites22 - it is the dpi resolution of the screen mode.
As to finding a problem applet - I'd do a "binary chop" search. Turn off
half of them - problem present - turn off another half (a quarter).
Problem not present, exchange the last two halves (on/off status).
The quick fix, is to copy, duplicate Sprites22 as Sprites.
