I think I have solved my problem with subscripts by saving all
the document as a text file and then reinserting.
Lost some of my formatting but easy to recover.
Still does not answer the question why one cannot find and
replace subscripts though.
Tried Risc OS but that did not help (I meant StrongEd not Strongarm).
Now to the printers.
