Chris, is there any hardware that we still need to source? Let me know what,
if anything, you still need. It sounds like we have transceivers, generators,
power cords, feedline, and most of the antennas and antenna hardware.
In particular, I have just picked up a 2 meter beam and a Mosley HF beam from
Chip W1AIM. Will we have a place for these? Will we have masts or towers? Or
do you have all of the antennas covered? I don't want to bring them if they
won't be used.
I will bring a 100 watt solar panel and 35 amp-hour AGM battery. That will
give us the alternate-power bonus and let us demonstrate to visitors that
emergency operation is possible without a generator, but it's not enough energy
to run a 100 watt radio for an extended period.
I live 5 minutes from the Field Day site, so I can easily run home if needed
for some minor item.

All of the above information is assuming that we will be running
as a 3A station for the 2017 event. Chris and I have been in
communication almost daily, working hard to make sure this
field day is successful and fun for everyone involved.
Please share any questions or concerns you may have.
