Tried an interesting ROM last night.

It's a homebrew test suite for 240p/480i resolutions. Besides the (very
useful) calibration patterns, it's a got a lag test that you can use to
record the relative lag between screens (provided you have a splitter and
decent camera). But it's also got a manual lag test that kinda depends on
your reactions and timing that doesn't require any extra equipment. Here's
the thing, I tested this using a Megadrive emulator running on a PS2 using
a CRT display and it reports less than 10ms of lag (which is probably due
to human error). This is very surprising to me, because it implies the
emulator has less than 1f of input lag, which is very unusual because of
how emus generally work. I'll need to test this on my PC via using my LCD
screen to check the difference.
