Dear member
The next Annual General Meeting of Chesterfield Panthers RUFC to take place in
the Clubroom commencing at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday 9 July 14.
Nominations are hereby invited for election to the Committee. In addition, as
the election of Officers is by rotation on a biannual basis the post of
Treasurer is also open for nominations this year.
· All voting members have a right to make a nomination under Rule 9.3.1
of the Club Constitution. All such nominations must reach the Secretary no
later than 21 days prior to the date of the AGM.
· Proposals for additions or alterations to the Rules or for any other
motion must reach the Secretary no later than 28 days prior to the date of the
AGM, at which the addition, alteration or motion will be voted on, duly
proposed by one Member and seconded by another.
Confirmation of the arrangements will be sent no later than two weeks before
the AGM, including the agenda of the business to be considered (including all
nominations or proposals made under the provisions described above) together
with a copy of the Club’s Financial Statement for the preceding financial year.
Please make the effort to attend the meeting and exercise your rights as a
member. If you intend to do so please let the Club Officers know so that we
can arrange for the room to be set up appropriately for the number of members
attending.
