I switched to Verizon a few years ago and have very good service in most
places. Great info on Ting.com -- will check that out next time around.

Hi everyone,

Our cell phone contract is coming to an end and we are considering switching to
a service-provider with better connections in the neighborhood. We currently
have AT&T. Does anyone have fantabulous cell phone connections to brag about?

Reception at our house is bad to nonexistent on Vassal. This goes for Verizon,
AT&T, Sprint, etc. so I don't have a strong suggestion along those lines. But
if you want to save money you might want to check out Ting at Ting.com. You
have to have your own phone but there is no contract and the prices are the
cheapest available. They are listed on the website and you are billed for what
you use each month. It is broken down into voice, messaging, and data. Our
family has three phones and our highest bills run in the mid-40s for all three.
We don't live on our phones but regardless of how use yours, you'll save a good
bit of money.
