Dr. Wilcken makes an important point and one to keep firmly in forefront
of discussions. Discussion should also note historical cycles which
often, over periods of roughly 3 centuries, have structural similarities
even when the details are unique.
Incidentally has anyone watching the news footage from Haiti and
from Hong Kong remarked on the differences of the population that takes
to the streets?
