[CTS] avg anitvirus software

Yeah, I constantly hear everyone saying how happy they are with the free AVG
antivirus software, so i decided to give her a try. Well when download i was
informed I would have to register and await a serial #, which is np. However
it has been 2 weeks and I have yet to recieve the number to install the prog.
Basically just curious, is this an isolated incident or should i just wait it
out? I tried to contact their tech support, but they wanted a serial before
beginning. Any advice would be appreciated
