Problem Solved. :-) Btw, no, on both counts. It doesn't go through the
progression as most recent mb/systems to, well, not automatically that
is. Kinda weird though. The hd is listed as the Primary 0 drive, but it
by=passed that drive and was trying to boot from something on Primary 1,
but nothing is/was there! Pure geniuses I'm telling you! :-)
