You can use SSI and create a txt file that they can modify via a browser.

Okay... here's a question for all the web designers out there.

I have a site (sidelong look at Hal) and they want to be able to put a banner on the site that can be updated as needed for bad weather (office closing for instance), but the guy doesn't want to learn simple html *or* anything to do with FTP'ing to the site. *sigh*

I know this is something that should... could... be done with PHP... but I'm at a loss as to where to start. I *know* PHP, but just can't figure out how this can be done without ftp'ing to the actual site.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Tina
