I second this. Keep the Kernel separate from userland apps, where
possible. A browser integrated into the kernel is just wrong.

Actually, I (for the most part) believe him because I think the first and biggest mistake that M$ made was tying IE into the OS instead of leaving it as a stand alone program. Just my opinion mind ya! :-)
