"As long as it's not keyframing. ;-)" Hahaha...mmmmm...pitty I am not a programmer but is it realy that difficult to enable keyframing on the sliders??? But 0.3 will include batch rendering, which will allow you to virtually create any kind of animation, providing the file format is well documented and you've got some knowledge in scripting. I'll make some batch creation tools available on the web site once 0.3 is released. I'd be the first to admit Chaoscope development is much slower than your average graphic project. I spend a lot of time just playing with it, which is how I come across most bugs. I also spend an awful lot of time experimenting with the code, improving, optimising, and learning in the process. I haven't any deadline to follow or managers inquiring about how far we are down the line, so I can spend a day on two lines of code if I feel like it. The only pressure comes from users kindly requesting new features, which is great. Also, unplanned features tend to creep in, like the attractor animation I've mentioned a while ago, and sometimes it pushes the release date even further. I want 0.5 to include every feature you're in right to expect for a standard "first release", like an automated installation, a proper Undo, a gradient browser or a context sensitive help. From there on, you will all decide what features should be implemented next. As long as it's not keyframing. ;-) Nicolas Desprez ====================================================== The Chaoscope mailing-list Archives : //www.freelists.org/archives/chaoscope Admin contact : chaoscope@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Web site : http://www.chaoscope.org ====================================================== ====================================================== The Chaoscope mailing-list Archives : //www.freelists.org/archives/chaoscope Admin contact : chaoscope@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Web site : http://www.chaoscope.org ======================================================
