Hi,

instead of finishing one thing (the CD/DVD Extractor), I just connected my
brand-new LG GGW-H20L with the help of a LogiLink S-ATA-to-IDE adaptor
to my IYONIX.

The drive was detected as a DVD writer by CDVDBurn and the CD/DVD Extractor
was able to extract some data (from CD and DVD-RAM). Like all LG drives, the
IYONIX CDFSSoftATAPI works fine for CDs, but fails for DVDs.

...and I have just written a full DVD-RAM with it. Seems to work in the same way
as the other LG drives. More testing to follow.

Now off to study the latest MMC6 offering to find out how this Blu-Ray stuff is
written...seems to be rather easy if you ignore all this DRM stuff. Stay tuned.

Somebody please take the ADFS sources from ROOL and add UDMA support,
or we'll have to wait really long until those 50 GB are written ;-)

Steffen
