So for the past few days I’ve been using flight sim as a part of my evening
ritual, because work is unusually tedious. I was trying to log hours for Delta
Virtual airlines, but until last night kept crashing on landing.
It turns out that IYP wasn’t set to handle the landing, and having it “assist,”
isn’t quite the same thing. I would have known this if I’d had read the manual
more carefully.
The upshot is that last night I had a successful flight and was able to log it,
despite not knowing what gate to use. Radar Contact ATC does have some
disadvantages, apparently. *smiles*

place to indulge in this stuff, all.
