Hi Everyone,
The IYP servers host a TeamSpeak system, that remains online 24-7. We all
use it as part of the Come Fly With Me system. All of the information about
Come Fly With Me can be accessed by going to the Come Fly With Me site
located here:
http://fly.itsyourplane.com
IYP uses the legacy TeamSpeak 2 - NOT TeamSpeak 3. Installation
instructions for TeamSpeak 2 are set forth.
For more information about IYP Central and Come Fly With Me, please refer
to the IYP Users' Manual PAGE 168.
The IP Address used by IYP for the TeamSpeak system is: 69.31.164.196
WHILE FLYING:
Let IYP do all of the work. Simply say to Michelle, "Connect to IYP
Central", or if you are flying with others, say, "Connect to Come Fly With
Me". Michelle will ask for the Channel number. Typically we use Channel One.
WHILE NOT FLYING:
To connect from your desktop while NOT flying, launch TeamSpeak, then click
on Quick Connect.
Enter the IP Address used by IYP for the Come Fly With Me
system: 69.31.164.196
Enter you Nick Name: We typically use the last 4 digits of our pilots
number, plus part of our name. For example, Pilot # 12345, would enter 2345
followed by (for example) John.
Leave the Login Name and Password BLANK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The only channel that can be used without flying, is what
we call the IYP Central channel. Channels 1-256 are PASSWORD PROTECTED and
reserved for flying.
