Tony, I will see if I can get it to work. Right then: QUESTION #21: Why does ALL power disappear while I'm running through the checklists? RESPONSE: The battery runs down. There is an option in the Miscellaneous section of a Registered version of FSUIPC and/or FSUIPC4 that permits you to Extend Battery Life. If you are running an unregistered version of FSUIPC or FSUIPC4, then add the following to the FSUIPC.INI file, within the [General] section: * MagicBattery=Yes This will extend the life of the battery to infinity. _____ QUESTION #22: Why does the Speech Recognition work for a while then stop? APU seems to not do a thing. Weird isn't it? Hmm, but APU was running, doesn't that make any difference? Weird too that it happened at the same time. How about a hammer, would a hammer do the trick do you think? I can tell you what the most likely issue is. The battery in the FSX aircraft does not last long enough. Suggestion. Turn the Battery Master Switch Off if you are going to sit for more than 5 minutes without starting your engines. I have made that mistake a few times. Hi All I've tried two flights today, on both occasions my 737 went tech. All was fine until pushback. I accepted the tug driver's kind offer, once pushback had been completed, the sounds associated with the battery master switch being on disappeared. Then, the engines would not start. I'll try a flight and decline the pushback. This has happened twice as said, so I guess that next time I log in to IYP VA, some kind of strongly worded letter threatening litigation will await me. I wonder whether it's anything to do with the version of FSUIPC, or whatever that clever interface is called. Anyway, someone whistle up some coaches please, there are passengers kicking their heels at both Rotterdam and Luxemburg airports. T
