I logged in to start IYPVA, but I don’t recall seeing anything about recovering
my registration key.

I can’t speak to the tour question, but your key is stored on the IYP web
site. You had to create an account when you ordered, I believe, and it
should still be there if you log in again.

state tour took at least 10-15 seconds to finally ask me if I was ready for

So, I’ve been performing the IYP Quickstart flights with little problems as
far as performance. I tried to step it up a bit and downloaded the first
standalone tour, and it took an unusual amount of time for IYP to even
respond to me. In the standalone tour, the close doors command wouldn’t
seem to work and I couldn’t pass beyond that.
I figured that maybe it was that particular tour, then I downloaded Stage
one of Around the World. I had the same results with that one, slow
checklist response time. The sim itself doesn’t seem to be having any
hangup problems, I heard the rain pattering clearly on stage one of Around
the World but the slow IYP response times really put me off. The first
standalone tour I couldn’t even close the doors, so not sure what is up
with that.
Can anybody help with this? I know most people don’t do the IYP modes here
and just use IYP as a flight addon, but these tours seem pretty cool. I may
try with IYP VA and see if maybe that’s better, but I was really hoping I
wouldn’t have any issues with the tours.
