Bristol Area Birders:
Here is the National Weather Service forcast for Saturday April 24, and the
previous evening and the evening of the 24th. This information is for the
Tri-City region, indicating weather affecting the Bristol Bird Club field trip
to Clinch Mountain Wildlife Management Area and the Elizabethton Spring Bird
Count - both on Saturday. The Sunday forcast listed below is for April 25th
when the BBC will have a booth at the Town of Abingdon's 4th Annual Arbor Day &
Earth Day Celebration at the the Veteran's Memorial Park 2-5 p.m. Geri Wynn,
Wynn Wood Wildlife Rehab of Elizabethton plans to have a live raptor or so with
the BBC booth.
Friday night. Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in
the lower to mid 50s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
Saturday. BBC Clinch Mnt. Field Trip / Elizabethton Count Mostly cloudy with
a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Light winds. Chance of rain 30 percent.
Saturday night. Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows
in the lower to mid 50s. Light winds. Chance of rain 30 percent.
Sunday. Abingdon's 4th Annual Arbor Day & Earth Day Celebration Mostly cloudy
with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 70s. Chance of
rain 40 percent.
