Glen Eller and I spent the morning birding in western Washington County, TN Highlights include: Bush Hog Pond one Scaup--we did not see the five Blue-winged Teal that had been regularly seen there over the past several weeks three Wilson's Snipe Pond at the intersection of Shanks Road and Kyker Road one American Pipit Keebler Lane/Smithdale Rds in Limestone one Eurasian Collared Dove Keebler Road, Limestone Red-tailed Hawk Sandhill Crane (posted for us earlier by Rick Knight on Bristol-birds) Berryhill Rd, Limestone Wild Turkeys 15 Black Vulture 24 Savannah Sparrow 6 or so Horned Lark saw 1 and heard several more singing Northern Harrier (brown) on a fence post at the bottom of the hill on Berryhill Road.
