Glen Eller and I spent the morning birding in western Washington County, TN
Highlights include:

Bush Hog Pond one Scaup--we did not see the five Blue-winged Teal that had
been regularly seen there over the past several weeks
                          three Wilson's Snipe

Pond at the intersection of Shanks Road and Kyker Road one American Pipit

Keebler Lane/Smithdale Rds in Limestone one Eurasian Collared Dove

Keebler Road, Limestone Red-tailed Hawk
                                            Sandhill Crane (posted for us
earlier by Rick Knight on Bristol-birds)

Berryhill Rd, Limestone Wild Turkeys 15
                                            Black Vulture 24
                                            Savannah Sparrow 6 or so
Horned Lark saw 1 and heard
several more singing
                                            Northern Harrier (brown) on a
fence post at the bottom of the hill on Berryhill Road. After we had a good
look at it, it flew up and attacked a Crow sitting on the next fence post. A
short aerial battle followed.

Stockton Road one Red-headed Woodpecker
