Recent birds at Steele Creek Park in Bristol, TN include
8/25/06 (3) Black-crowned Night-Herons, Common Raven, Cedar Waxwings by
Jeremy Stout.
Green Heron
8/31 Black-crowned Night-Heron, Solitary Sandpiper, Spotted Sandpiper,
Coopers Hawk,
(2) Common Ravens.
9/1 Black-crowned Night-Heron, Green Heron, Double-crested Cormorant, Wood
Duck,
Eastern Screech-Owl, Warbling Vireo (no previous park records found),
American Redstart.
9/2 Baltimore Oriole by Rudy Morales and Zak Poultan.
Green Heron, Belted Kingfisher, Pileated Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker,
Yellow-throated Warbler, Summer Tanager with Rudy and Zak.
American Redstart with Zak.
Yellow-throated Vireo.
