Hi, have you had a look in what was My computer on ExP but is now known as Computer? I know when I used to use active sync the BN would show up under My Computer as another drive. I can't remember what it called itself but have a look around in there and see what you can find. I am still learning my new laptop with windows eight so haven't gotten as far as putting Mobile device center on it yet so can't have a look myself. Hope this helps. In some cases, | using the bn in this way made it easier and even quicker to download things | files. When I open Mobile device center, all they seem to have on the screen | is a button that says, "help and about" and one other button that's not | labeled. There is also no toolbar like ActiveCync had. When I tried to | connect my MPower for the first time a couple days ago, I think the | braillenote part of the connection connected, but I'm not sure about the pc | part. Usually, we'd hear that funny cherp from the bn and then that chime | from the computer indicating that the connection was made at both ends | successfully. Does anyone know if there are any audio tutorials available | anywhere online that shows us how this thing works? | Mike | Rochester, NY. | -----Original Message----- | From: braillenote-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx | [mailto:braillenote-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of JD | Sent: Friday, October 3, 2014 11:14 PM | To: koala@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx; dmarc-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxx; | braillenote@xxxxxxxxxxxxx | Subject: [BNU] Re: using mobile device center | | | | Hi: | | Using Mobile Device Center is not as easy or clear as it might | be, even though it is a Microsoft product. | | It is much easier for most people to use a USB or SD card to move | files around. | | But, please let us know what your experience is. I, for one, | would like to hear how it works for you. | | | ----- Original Message ----- | From: "Sharon S" <koala@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx | To: <dmarc-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>,<braillenote@xxxxxxxxxxxxx | Date sent: Thu, 2 Oct 2014 17:09:19 +1000 | Subject: [BNU] Re: using mobile device center | | Hi, I haven't used Mobile device center yet but will be | installing it on my new laptop soon. On my older computers using | active sync the BN's drives would show up under My computer, | which I think is now called just Computer.
