Db and quality are 2 different things. Quality is how good the recording sounds and the higher you make it the bigger the file is. db is volume.

Subject: [BNU] recording qualitys

Hi all,

So I am in the band and want to record it. Band, being the 85 or
more students at my school. So, in ordered to get all the
instruments, (or close enough), I need the right quality. I had
it set to 7 db, if anyone wants to try to see what you think, let
me know. I'm thinking lower then that.
