No, special format is not required. Just go and create a keyWord file.

1.  Open Keyword, and choose "create a document".  Put this
document in the Keymail folder on the flash disk.
2.  Call the document "signature".  In it, put your signature,
remembering to add a couple blank lines at the top.  The exact
content of this file is added to the end of any new email you
create.
3.  Once done, close the file, and test it to be sure it works.
Note that, if you switch away from an email and then back to it,
your signature is pasted again.
4.  To add a signature for replying, follow the same steps, but
call the file "reply signature" instead.
