Hi,
Of course - you need a pC to jailbreak. The exploit that jailbreak
devs used on those sites will not work since Apple patched the very
holes in the past. Jailbreaking requires that you install custom
firmware, but you need PC tools to do it for you automatically or get
instructions from.
Speaking of Windows oS versions: just because Apex runs a "variant" of
Windows does not mean it can install all Windows software. What really
dictates compatibility of an executable are two things: overall
Windows version and processor in use. I expect jailbreak tools to be
written for X86-based PC's and certaintly not for Windows CE.
as for hwz file: in order for an hwz file to install to flash disk,
the "zip" file needs to have a folder called "flash disk," otherwise
it'll go to RAM disk (keysoft system disk).
