Unfortunately, I have experienced this many, many times (especially in the middle of an important class). The only way I have fixed it is with a reset. I don't think this is a bug specific to KS 9.4 though, because I had this problem ever since 9.2 or 9.3.

Sometimes, when I turn off my BrailleNote, it doesn't turn on whenever I try turning it on again. Also, when I turn it off, I've noticed that the cells of the braille display rise very slowly, much slower than they usually do when I turn it off. The only way I've been able to fix this is by pressing reset. Has anyone else experienced this?? I've experienced this countless times before, but I just experienced this again right now. - Carlos Sent from my BrailleNote Apex BT 32 running KeySoft 9.4 build 1226 from the HumanWare BrailleNote family -------------------------------BNU: BrailleNote Users - a forum for users of BrailleNote family of products from Humanware.
