I never marked anything in a book because it was on tape or in Braille when
in school. However when I recently took some online classes, Using the
bookmark feature made it possible to find those important points when
answering questions for the professor.

Dear Mike and Everyone,

It's nice that you understand about highlighting and margin notes and
underlining. Highlighting helped me to remember special bits, and along with

margin notes, it was like having a dialogue with the book, or having kept a
diary about it. The marks also were a great help when I revisited a book
or checked it for reference. I also agree with your point about buying used
books with notes, etc. I couldn't read anyone's notes, but their underlining

and highlighting made me feel slightly connected to the former reader and it

was fun comparing what was important to me with what they thought was worth
noting.

Always With Love,

Lissi
