Have you tried doing a key word search on Yahoo and Google groups?

Subject: [bookshare-discuss] off topic, other lists for...?

greetings all,
Are there other list with individuals with print / reading disabilities?
Let me explain my goal.
I understand many with reading disabilities also use adaptive tools on the Internet like screen readers and the like, not just those with visual situations. in that spirit, I am seeking those who may have tried or wanted to try the eharmony dating service, but have encountered barriers, either with the site itself, it is *very* inaccessible, or with staff understanding their needs even if they were successful finding a match there. I am a freelance radio producer, and want to create a radio feature, likely for public radio stateside and in Canada. I am meeting with challenges at someone myself, and have heard from others who had to pull teeth to get anywhere with staff or the site before either finding someone or not. I want to expand the voices for the piece beyond just those experiencing vision loss though if I can. It is a way to let the public know that many benefit from adaptive tools, and likewise doors should be open to all if that makes sense. If you know of a general list where I can ask about interview subjects, or you yourself fit into the pool I am seeking, can you write me privately please? I know this is not bookshare material, so want to shift information from the list if I can.
this email address is just fine,

Thanks much in advance.
