I think I have heard that voice somewhere before a long time ago. I think it is obsolete and you will probably not be faced with it too often. Why it reads that short piece of text in Bookshare books I don't know.

I also heard that voice read the title of a book and I was happy that he made only a very brief appearance. The first thing she says is "notice: This accessible media has been made available ..." etc. Then another voice says "title" with the actual title, then says "author" and the author's name. Question, what is the name of the male voice that gives the title and author? I'd like to know so if given a choice of voices somewhere, sometime, I can avoid it. The guy sounds like a grump with a bad cold. Of course, anyone is forgiven for a bit of grumpiness when having a bad cold, however, I don't think he will ever actually recover from this one.
