To add to what you've said about your speakers and blue tooth, I just read
about a tow-way blue tooth system and it will work at a range of a hundred
feet or so. It was in Circuits, a searchable column authored by, David
Pogue in the N.Y. Times, in the last month.

This may help you kill multiple bugs with one small hammer, but I got a
speaker system that is also Bluetooth. It is about 7 inches long and 3
inches high, 2 inches thick with about 2-1/2 inch speakers on either side
and the controls in the middle. While this is not something for fine music
listening, it does sound very good for what it is. The battery is
rechargeable and lasts a very long time. It comes with a short male-male
cord to use with something having a headphone jack and even has the 2.5mm
jack you see with cell phones. If you have it paired to a cell phone, it
has a microphone so you can use it as a speaker phone, too, or accept calls
while you were listening to something else. I will often pair it to my PC
and phone so that as I listen to something streaming I can take calls. I
have never tried using it with the patch cord and Bluetooth.

I got this from geeks.com. It was $29 and then shipping, so about $35. It
is called Belluga, but I am sorry I do not have the part number. I highly
recommend this for anyone who likes to stream from their PC and it would
work very nicely with the Stream, etc. The Bluetooth range is very good,
too.

If anyone can't find it on geeks.com, let me know and I will be glad to help
out. I may still have the receipt here somewhere.
