Hi Ed:

Have you already put the books on your card? If so, you just need to press Star plus zero to get out of the folder you are in. Then you can navigate with alternately star and number. If you put the books in a different folder, press zero plus number when pointing to that folder to open it.

Yesterday my batteries ran down so I put in new ones. All I got was
something like "there are no files in the notes folder." After some fiddling
I got it to say "There are no files in the memo folder." I cannot remember
how to get back to book files. I tried various combinations, and finally
locked up the bookport so it would say nothing. This morning I took out the
batteries and left it alone for 12 hours. But again I cannot get it to find
the four books I had been planning to read on my trip. I am leaving for 26
days tomorrow morning. Can someone suggest what I can do? I was really
counting on reading while I travel.
