I know next to nothing about computers or anything like that, but if the FAQ
is correct that the CPU in the bookport is something like 14 megs then it is
unlikely it has the horsepower to make an mp3 file on-the-fly. I get the
impression that recording as well as it does is pushing it to it's limits.
