This is a new Book Port, right?
The Compact Flash card is in the unit, right?
You've unplugged the book port and double checked that the only file on the Book Port is the manual?

If you haven't put anything on the Compact Flash card yet, unplug the usb cable and try re-formatting the Compact Flash card.
To do this, connect earphones to the book port so you can hear the messages.
Then press 1,3,d,f (the four corner keys.)
When it asks you if you want to reformat the card or whatever it says, hit those same buttons again.

When it comes back up with the book port ready message, try connecting the usb cable again and just try sending one file.

Good luck,
Richard

Hi,

Yes, I first plugged the USB cable into my Book Port.
Yes, the transport software open automatically at that point.
I was able to move with the arrows and the tab and choose the item and click send. Nothing happened.

Hi,
Did you first plug the USB cable into your Book Port from the computer?

Did the transport software open automatically at that point?

If not, then it may not see your Book Port.
If you have the transport software open and it doesn't see the book port, you should be able to find a message on the screen that says "Book Port not connected" or something like that.

Hello,

I want to transfer the books that came in the cd to the bp.
I copied these books to my pc.
I open book transfer, selected the books I want to copy and clicked on send. However, nothing happens. I also just pressed enter, but nothing.
Am I doing anything wrong?
Would anyone please help me?
Thank you.
