Hello Paul,
My bookport does give me the low battery warning, even when I'm listening to
audible files.
I do agree that it would be nice to have a more stable clock. My watch has
vanished and I can't find it anywhere <grin>. This is not something that is
essential
for the Bookport, though, and I'll continue to love mine no matter what. <grin>
