Hello:

1. I don't know what you mean with reguard to Check Disk and ncc.html
as they are not related.

2. Yes, you will have to resend DAISY books to get access to levels 2
through 4. We don't support levels 5 and 6 directly, but we support any
level with A+C and D+F. (These used to be 4+7 and 7+9.)

3. I don't know if you need to reformat or not. Normally, this
shouldn't be necessary.

Despite previous questions on this subject, I am uncertain about
getting started with the new firm ware, so I am asking for additional
help:

Working with a previously loaded 2 gigabit card and the previously
loaded software and firm ware:
1. What should I expect to see after starting the check disk when
focused on flash card memory? I have seen a NCC.html screen but it just
sits there for a long time seeming to do nothing.

2. Do I have to reload Daisy formatted stuff to navagate to the
headings of all levels? The 3-6 key moves forward through what seem to
be level 1 headings, but the 6-9 and 9-# do not appear to navagate to
levels 2 and 3.

3. Will it be necessary for me to reformat the flash card and start
over with the installation of firm ware and reading materials?

******** more Background below

Unfortunately, I only learned the proper steps for getting started
after first unintentionally loading an RFBD book which the transfer
program had found in a CD drive. Then, I intentional loaded the upgrade
to 2.20. The upgrade to 2.2 may have been previously loaded, as the
previous software was setup to automatically check and install upgrades
each time it had access to the internet. After that, I deliberately
upgraded the software.

As you can see, I was just feeling my way along without much of an idea
how to interact with the transfer program.
