Hi Linda.

It depends on what you mean by not recognised. Does Windows detect the
presence of the BookPort by making the hardware connected sound? Is it only
the BookPort software that is not recognising the unit? Can he access it as a
drive letter in my computer? In order to be able to help, I need to also know
what operating system he is using. The problem could be one of many depending
on where the route cause is. One solution isn't necessarily going to solve the
problem.

I await further details.

All the best, Ibrahim Gucukoglu

  Subject: [bookport] Question

Last night, my husband was downloading books and transfering to the book
port. All of a sudden, when he later connected the book port to the computer
to put more books on it, it didn't recognize the book port. Is the only option
to uninstall the book port then reinstall it, or is there something else that
can be done?
