[bookport] Playing Unfiltered Files Not Supported

Dear List,
I created a text file using notepad. I used the transfer program to
transfer this text file to my Book Port. I pressed the play key on the Book
Port and received the message:
"Playing Unfiltered Files Not Supported".
I am looking for the cause of this. More importantly, I am looking for the
remedy.
