Here is the point, as I understand it: Do you ever want to access a DAISY book to read it on your bookport. If not, then you won't need the BWR application, as this shouldn't be called unless you attempt to send a DAISY book to your bookport. Although the software is a demo, for use as a PC DAISY reader, it is functional as a reformatting module for DAISY books being sent to the Bookport. With the Book Courier, this functionality is likely built in to the transfer software, with the Book Port, it is called as required. So, just decide if you ever want to read a DAISY book on your Bookport, and you have your answer. Hi Robert. Actually, that wasn't the question I asked. I asked whether the BP transfer tool requires the book wizard reader to operate correctly. Personally, I couldn't give a toss about the BWR itself as I use my own software Victor Reader Soft which is much easier to control in my opinion. If you are a seasoned BP user, you should know what I am asking of you and be able to respond appropriately. As for flash adapters and other cards, as far as I am aware, no other card other than compact flash cards are supported. If other cards work with an adapter, they certainly won't be supported by APH technical support.
