I would suggest that you download the files again from Web Braille. I got the
same message you are getting even though
I have Windows XP. I erased the files from the computer and downloaded them
again. After that I was able to load the
files to the Bookport. Hope this helps.

Folks,
My Book Port transfer software is version 2.4.1.0. The software on the book
port is 2.3.0.0. I am using Vista which has the latest updates. When I try
to move a web Braille book, I get an mfc (Microsoft Foundation Class)
failure.
Questions:
1. Should the book port software and file transfer have the same version?
2. Have others been able to transfer web Braille books using Vista?
