Such a great question! I would add this tip. If it is suitable
to do so, you can simply do the copy command on an unopened email
in "Outlook" and paste it into an open word processor file. You
could paste several messages into one file, thus avoiding saving
each message separately. This safe method for looking at emails
will not save attachments however.
