Hi James,

That isn't the sampling rate--it's the bitrate ... I don't know the technical 
terms. Most mp3's are done at 128 kb/s or 160 kb/s; I did this at 48 kb/s and 
in mono 
to preserve space. It sounds really good, actually--it's a lecture. But I can't 
compress the thing. I'm not sure what sampling rate the original wav file had.
