Hi on this topic, I am making a point to support the American Printing House
for the Blind and their products after purchasing the bookport. I have
contacted them for some questions on the item and had much success and
satisfaction. I agree that the money I spent on the bookport is the best
money spent on. It is one of the few items that I am totally happy with
that was obtained via the mail. I will say this again, I am 51 years old
and since I purchased this bookport, I have been reading various books in
audio, bookshare and word and text documents more now than in any other
times in my life and that is the honest to god truth. Thank you to all who
are responsible for this fantastic device. Andy, Salem, MA.

Subject: [bookport] Bookport Stability
One of the things to note is that APH is a lot more up-front about the issues with Book Port than are other companies. Other companies have stability problems with their products, many have more than the Book Port, but they try to sweep them under the rug. Because APH runs this list, and because APH has been so open to honesty, these issues are out in the open so they can be dealt with. Rather than a weak point, I think this is a huge selling point for the BP. It shows that APH is willing to be honest and up front with us, it shows a respect for the customer which I admire and applaud. And I've said it before: The BP is some of the best money I've spent.
