For some reason Audible does that from time to time. I have found if = you restart internet explorer the format 4 comes back. =20 =20 Dave Cunningham (412) 257-8153 Home (412) 215-4597 Cell dcj638586@xxxxxxxxxxx Email address used for MSN. =20 All incoming and outgoing email scanned by Norton Anti-virus 2004 -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx = [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Walt Smith Sent: Thursday, August 26, 2004 1:21 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Audible format confusion Forgive the sort of halfway off-topic question, but I'm very = confused. I bought _Brave New World_ and when I saw it in the list of purchased = programs in AudibleManager on the PC, it indicated that it was available in all = four=20 formats. I checked format 4 and downloaded it and it plays successfully = on=20 the Book Port. However, that title has now been moved to Heard Programs = in=20 My Library and when I go there, it appears to be available only in = formats=20 1, 2, and 3...no format 4 entry is available to check for download. I = could=20 see a situation where, for any number of reasons, I might want to = download=20 this (or some other title similarly set up) book again in the future to = read on the Port. Does anybody have an answer to this apparent failure of the = left hand (Heard Programs) to know what the right hand (AudibleManager = on=20 the desktop) is doing? -- Walt Smith - Clearwater, FL walt@xxxxxxxxxx=20
