Hi Richard:
It is a demo. You only get a number, if you purchase a copy. It is not
necessary to have a number when using it with Boook Port.

At some point I had to remove Book Wizzard. I used the link in Pamela's message
to reinstall it. When doing so, the program indicated it was a demo copy and
that a user number was required. I don't recall having a user number
previously. How can I handle this? Thanks.

In addition to getting the latest version of Book Port Transfer from our site,
make sure you also have the latest version of Book Wizard Reader. Book Port
Transfer is available at:
http://www.aph.org/tech/bp_setup.exe
Book Wizard Reader is at:
http://www.aph.org/tech/bwr_setup.exe
See if you notice any differences, once you have those versions installed.
Also, the Hot key for the Lookin Box is alt l for the files you wish to send.
Alt f is to see what's been sent. Also, be sure you are transferring the OPF
file. Doing so will give you everything you need.

Hi Pamela and all,
I just bought a new laptop with Vista on it. When I hook up my Bookport to my
laptop I do not get the pane showing the files to be sent. BPT shows the Send
file instead, and tabbing around it is not available or several more. How do I
get BPT to show these files? Also, after manually forcing BPT to show the files
by not having the Bookport hooked up, after hooking it up and trying to send a
book I get the message saying that the XML file is not there. I know it is. I
have uninstalled BPT and Unpack and reinstalled them with the same problems.
Can anybody help? Thanks.
