1. Exit from any lists. 2. Make sure you are in the folder where you want the new voice recording to be stored. If not, navigate to the desired folder. 3. Simultaneously press the shift key (middle of the bottom row) and the pound key to start recording. Speak in a normal tone of voice. The microphone is located on the top end of the unit, but you do not need to speak directly into the microphone to make a good recording. You can pause the recording by pressing the pound key. Resume recording by pressing the pound key again. While you are paused, you can navigate within the current file unless you started the recording while you were in the Library. In that case, none of the other BookCourier functions will work until you stop recording. 4. To stop recording and save the voice file, press and hold the pound key until you hear a beep. If you are in the Library, you can immediately listen to the file you just created by pressing the Play key (5). list end ----- Original Message ----- From: <juddysbuddy@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookcourier@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, March 22, 2006 3:58 PM Subject: [bookcourier] memo feature Can someone explain in well, kind of simple terms how to make and then access a memo on the BC I am goofing up the process somewhere.
