[bookcourier] Slow running of the transfer tool.

I am Steve Campbell. I have been noticing lately that when I run the transfer
tool it has been slow. Just now I tried it with a newly formatted card in the
unit, and it came up real fast, and I was able to make a new folder for that
card, but after that it froze. I know there is no excuse for this. What's
going on? PS, battery level is 64%, and the card is a 1 GB with 976 MB left.
