Could your problem be that your keyboard has an on/off button for your function keys? The keyboard we use with the desktop computer has one and I get no response from function keys after restarting the computer unless I push that button which turns on the function keys. On our keyboard the on/off key is located to the right of the function keys on the right side. Perhaps that could help.

in eudora after i hit control l to open the addressbook, i've been hitting f6 to let me edit a particular record. with the new eudora beta the f6 key doesn'
't work and the eudora tech folks say that i's not a eudora key stroke. is it a window eyes key requiring the set files to be revised?
