Dear Bud,I'm sure that function with the control-M to get your email in Eudora, is still working. My screen reader does not speek anything when I do a Control-M in Eudora, to get my mail. I use Window-Eyes or System Access or NVDA.
There other commands in Eudora, such as Control-T doesn't speak anything, either, nor does the Control-E speak anything, either.
Let me try those other screen readers to see if they say anything when I do a Control-M in Eudora, but I highly doubt that they will.
Hold on just a minute, here!Okay, I'm now typing with NVDA and neither NVDA nor System Access spoke anything when I did the Control-M command out side of this message, in Eudora. <smile>
I don't know what to tell you, but I am sure the actual command has not been turned off. <smile>
I ope this helps. Pat Ferguson At 12:39 PM 10/4/2013, you wrote:
Hi Gang,I used to get a message when i look for mail by pressing control M, but all of a sudden it's just silent now. It does get the mail eventually but I get no indication that there is any. I wonder what I did to cause that and what I do to get it back. I couldn't find any place where I could reset it.Thanks.
