I believe that if you hit the insert key on the 6 pack of keys, insert
mode will be toggled with over write mode.

I occasionally unintentionally turn on overwrite mode when composing an email mesage in Eudora. This is obnoxious when trying to edit the text of the message or to insert text. I know neither what keystroke turns overwrite mode on nor how to get rid off it again. I would much appreciate help with this one, especially if there is any setting that lets me permanently disable overwrite mode.
i use Eudora 6.2.3 and jaws on a win 2k ssystem.
