I've decided to fight back by automatically trashing any new spam
that comes to me by creating a filter for doing so for any message
based upon the information for making a filter for it. I do this
while in the message summary list for the inbox.
When on the line for an obviously spam msg, not from a business with
which I've given permission to communicate, I press alt+s for
Special, followed by f for make filter. Since the filter dialog
already has enough information grabbed from the message to identify
the sender and the subject, I just press alt+d to go to the radio
button to delete the msg to trash, then alt+c to create the filter.
Would anyone please advise me if there is a way to make the filter,
once it is created, remove the message upon which it is based so the
user does not have to delete the message manually after creating a
filter for future spam?
