Mailbox menu is not displaying all of the mailboxes
Document ID: 1534HQ

ISSUE:

Mailbox menu is not displaying all of the mailboxes. The list of mailboxes goes off the screen.

SOLUTION:

Version 3 and 4

Windows 95/NT 4.0 has a character limitation for drop-down and pop-up menus. Once this limit is exceeded, the menus will not display properly and will scroll
off the screen. To correct this, you will want to remove things from the menu so that the character limitation is not exceeded.

With mailboxes, the way to prevent the menu from exceeding the windows limitation is to organize the mailboxes into folders and subfolders.

Version 5

If you are using Windows 98, Windows 2000, or Windows Millennium Edition (ME), there is a new setting available in Eudora 5.0 and above that will help with
this problem. To set it, type the following into the body of a new message:

<X-Eudora-Option:WrapMenus=0>

followed with the Enter key. Now hold down Alt on your keyboard and then click the resulting link. Click OK to the dialog box to set this value to 0. Finally,
quit Eudora. When you launch Eudora again, those ling menus will now have a scroll arrow at the top and bottom, much like your Start menu does in Windows.
